The book provides an overview as well as specific insights about the segment “Reactive power compensation”. Network quality, power loss, energy saving and minimization CO2 is included in 22 chapters forming a technical "dictionary". It is written as accessible to all professionals; including engineers, electricians and students. The purpose of This book is to expand knowledge in this particular field. This "Technical Manual" responds many questions arise when controlling reactive power, eg. when operating in parallel with the generator. This book is based on a book in German published by VDE Verlag GmbH (Berlin et al Offenbach) in 2003. Some chapters have been revised and adapted or completely rewritten for comply with new technological developments and changing standards. The authors would like to thank all companies that provided images and information to update this book. Special thanks to Mr. M.
